When you’re just starting out, you often have no idea where to begin. That’s where Edina Realty comes in. We’ve compiled a nine-unit online course to guide you as you navigate your new career. It starts with Edina University, which offers hands-on learning and role-playing opportunities, and it continues with Fast Track.

What’s Fast Track?
Fast track is an online, nine-unit,
comprehensive training program designed to get you to your first sale fast, with units covering the following:

  1. Working on your business - Activities to help you build a solid business foundation
  2. Prospecting - Activities to help you generate listings and sales
  3. Best practices - Advice and pointers from industry experts

How does Fast Track work?
This online, nine-unit course allows you to:

  • Run at your own pace through self-guided cheat sheets and video tutorials
  • Stay on track through regular check-ins with your sales manager
  •  Assess your progress by unit and even check items off after you’ve completed them

I have my real estate license…now what?

Congratulations on the launch of your real estate career! We know this is a busy time for you, and we’d like to help you feel prepared with the right questions as you conduct your broker interviews.

Here are the top three topics to tackle—and supporting questions for each.

Lead generation

  1. What is your company’s overall lead policy?
    • Does the company provide me with leads?
    • What happens when a lead comes in on my listing?
    • What happens with leads that I generate myself?

Jump starting my career

  1. How will you help me jump start my business?
    • What is your role today versus long-term?
    • Who will be helping me?
    • What are the terms of the contract I would sign with you?
    • Will you pay for my tuition for licensing education?

Supporting me to build a successful, long-term business

  1. What will you do to help me in my career?
    • What can I expect for coaching and support from my manager/broker?
    • Is the broker available to me evenings and on weekends?
    • Where are the marketing, IT and legal departments located?
      • Are they readily available by phone or email?
      • Is there an additional fee for this?
    • How do you help me with my online presence?
    • Who is the broker of the office, and do they sell?
